Who We Are
NUVREN is a web development studio operating at nuvren.com, based in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy legislation.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of project you described, and your message. If you opt in, we also collect your email address for our newsletter.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics (with IP anonymization enabled) to understand how visitors use our website. This includes: pages visited, time on site, browser type, and general geographic region. We do not collect precise location data. Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) automatically logs IP addresses and request details for security and performance monitoring. These logs are retained for up to 30 days.
How We Use Your Information

- To send you a quote or proposal you requested
- If you opted in: to send our newsletter about web development. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
- To analyze site usage and improve our content (via Google Analytics)
- To maintain security and prevent fraud
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Google Analytics (for site analytics, governed by Google's Privacy Policy)
- GoDaddy (our web hosting provider, for server logs)
- Our email service provider (for sending transactional emails and newsletter, if you opted in)
All third parties are required to handle your information securely and only for the purposes we have described.
Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels from social networks, or third-party remarketing services.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained until the project is complete or you request deletion. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. We will delete your personal information within 30 days of a written request.

Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in an encrypted database on our server. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
